Charlotte was amazing in a myriad of ways. I called her in a pinch to help my son who was struggling with some of his assignments in his AP English Language class. She was incredibly flexible and was able to set up a tutoring session the day after we contacted her. She very knowledgeable and prepared. She brought printed handouts of instructions for writing different types of essays which really helped him. She also reviewed and helped him revise some of his writing assignments. I would highly recommend Charlotte and plan to have her tutor my son again!
She is helping my son have a better understand of creative writing and guides him in producing details in structured paragraphs. She seems to have a lot of experience working with children with special needs and is very kind.
My wife and I are really impressed with the way you have been teaching my two children. With your help, they are improving their English more and more. They also like you. Yesterday, my son said to me that he is beginning to understand things about the language that used to be so confusing for him. Thank you so much. You are a great tutor!!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
