Alex is an excellent tutor. She helped me get an "A" in General Chemistry 01. The first month of the course I was struggling and was receiving B- and C grades. After meeting with Alex my grade and most importantly, my confidence, greatly improved. My greatest weaknesses are word problems and after a couple of sessions with Alex I was able approach them in a methodical way which eliminated any intimidation.
I highly recommend Alex as a tutor for any age. She has the ability to adapt her teaching style to a student's learning style. She's punctual, reliable, patient as well as has a true interest in enhancing a student's performance in class.
Alexandra helped my daughter review AP Chemistry for an upcoming exam. She provided advice on test taking, how to quickly and correctly answer questions and reviewed concepts.
Alexandra is a very qualified tutor. She knows math so well it's easy for her to pin point areas my daughter needs to improve for math success now and into the future. I feel we started just in time so we can prepare for Chem & Physics when its important to have math skills at the ready.
Alex is a very patient tutor. She is good at describing a math problem using clear visual images. She is excellent.
Very pleasant and easy to talk to. She did a wonderful job of finding out where my son is struggling. Awesome all the way around!
Alex is dedicated to really helping struggling students. My son was so comfortable with her gentle approach. She is especially excellent at explaining chemistry!
She is very nice and comfortable to be with but I needed somebody to go over each chapter in detail with me. She kind of assumed that I knew some of the stuff. She is good but not what I wanted from a tutor.
Alexandra was real personable and real attentive. Our teenager daughter liked her very much. She was very quick to respond to our texts and emails, look forward to having her tutor our daughter again.
Alex impressed me from the moment I first met her. She is very likeable, patient, professional, trust-worthy, bright, and very thorough in her tutoring lessons. I wish I could use her for every subject!!
I Highly recommend Alexandra !!! She's has a great method of teaching and I learned new techniques which will enhance my ability to study and grasp math equations. I'll be using her services again and refer classmates to her. Thank you Alexandra.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
