My background training and education is in architecture but for a long time I have always been interested in expressive art. Over the past few years I have developed some digital graphics skills using software like Photoshop, Illustrator etc producing art that is unlike anything that you normally see.
Though my graphics skills were initially intended to enhance my 3D CAD drawings I have found a wider application in digital art. Apart from Photoshop and Illustrator I can also offer tutoring lessons in AutoCAD, Revit-architecture (certified associate), and SketchUp. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have used Adobe Photoshop since release 7 and currently I am on CS5. I go beyond the software's basic purpose of image editing and enhancement to use it for "painting" highly appealing digital art and can teach the same techniques to students.
I have used Revit since release 9 when it was known as 'Revit Building'(2008/2009). I have earned the coveted Autodesk 'Revit Architecture certified associate' based on the 2010 release and I'm currently using 'Revit 2011'. Using this software on an almost daily basis has really sharpened my skills and along the way I have picked up some of the most important aspects to enhance efficiency in working out a project.
