Hello all,

I am an adjunct professor at two local universities. I have an MS degree, have completed coursework in an MBA program, and I have undergraduate degrees in both Business Administration and Psychology. I have both classroom and online teaching and tutoring experience. My preference is to take a friendly approach and to have high expectations of myself. I take pride in building rapport with students and learning quickly about each student's learning style. I believe that there is no one approach that is best in all cases. Rather, it is important to listen carefully and to ask questions that will provide clues to what works for a particular student. I am most proud of my ability to adapt my "message" to meet students' needs and maximize their understanding. Most of all, I want learning to be a fun experience for the student. There is nothing better than to see the pride in a student who grasps a new concept and makes progress in his or her learning. I hope that I can be helpful to you!

Jim worked with me to understand how bonds work as well as many other aspects of Financial Accounting. Jim is remarkably patient and personable, and makes complex topics easy to understand.
