I'm currently a student at Sacramento State working towards my bachelors degree in mathematics. I have minimal experience in tutoring but I am looking forward to gaining more with the help of this site! I plan on becoming a high school math teacher upon graduating and I know tutoring will greatly aid me for that career in the future.
I love working with students and helping them achieve their goals. My goal is to have them better understand the topics at hand, not just give them the answers. I look forward to helping students and experience joy myself when I witness them succeeding.
Currently majoring in Mathematics at Sacramento State University. I have completed, and received an A in all but one of the following at Sacramento State: Calculus 1-3, linear algebra, intro to formal mathematics, business calculus, and basic statistics. My current cumulative GPA is above a 3.6.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
