Ann has been tutoring my son for English and SAT preparation. My son was not doing very well in his Language and Composition Class. This is the first time we've ever hired a tutor and we are so glad we found Ann. My son has been very happy to have Ann tutor him. My son's writing and reading has improved remarkably. With Ann's help, my son was able to pass the AP test for the Language and Composition class and improve his grade. Last term, my son received a B in English. This term, he has improved to an A-.
I highly recommend Ann for English tutoring and SAT preparation. She is very patient and flexible. She responds quickly to emails and keeps me informed on what she is doing for each tutoring session.
This is the end of the term for my son's English class. This term he received an A in his English class. Without a doubt, the help he has received from Ann has improved his grade in English. If you are looking for an English tutor, I would definitely recommend Ann.
I've been out of school for over a decade and is now going back again. I am not a strong writer and I'm so glad to have found Ann. She looked over my paper carefully and gave me positive, constructive feedbacks. She is patient and easy to talk to. I am looking forward to continue to work with her.
Ann was very patient with all of my questions. She listens and provides good advice. Will definitely schedule a tutoring lesson with her again!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I passed the CBEST Exam 2/10/2001, earning a 79 in Reading, 67 in Math, and 63 in Writing, with a total score of 209, considered "highest results."

As an English tutor and teacher, I have often worked one-on-one with individuals whose first language is not English. Although I do not speak other languages (other than a little Spanish), if a student can speak, read, and write some English, I can help him or her gain fluency and tackle coursework in English more effectively.

My Masters Degree Program in English and Music Second Bachelors Degree Program both demanded intense investment from me, and I learned to meet those demands while also meeting my work, relationship, and health needs.
