I'm Professor Rosa M., and when I'm not teaching writing and literature courses at California State University, Sacramento, I enjoy tutoring high school students and mentoring young professionals. I have had great success working with students outside the classroom, ranging from high school juniors and seniors to college freshmen to Ph.D. candidates to nontraditional students. My subjects range from tutoring in College Essay Writing, American Literary History, English Literature and Composition, Exam Preparation (such as SAT, GRE, MTEL), Creative Writing, College Applications & College Preparation, Graduate School Applications (for MA and Ph.D. programs), and Professional Guidance.

I have extensive experience working with all types of students and at different stages in their schooling and academic paths and at various campuses -- Rocklin High, Sierra College, Sac City College, American River College, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, MIT, Boston University, Northwestern University and Harvard.
