Hello! First, a little background information...my name is Deidre and I am a California State University, San Bernardino graduate who majored in psychology. I am currently employed with Riverside County as an instructional assistant and work mostly in special education classes such as autism and emotionally disturbed. I will be entering the teaching credential program at California State University, Fullerton in January. I have been working with elementary aged children for a year and half, therefore, my tutoring experience is excellent. I will help your child to understand and perceive their class material through a clear lens, and will also increase their interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and self-esteem in the process. With psychology as my major, I have the advantage of observing people without judgement and accepting each and every individual as they are. I am approachable, friendly, and most importantly, I have what it takes to make your child a better student. I am looking forward to meeting you and your special student!

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
