My name is Alex, I have graduated from California State University, San Bernardino in June 2016, with a B.S. in Biology. I have plenty of years of experience in volunteer tutoring, seven plus years, at a tutoring center called H.O.M.E. (House Of Media and Education), where I developed my passion for tutoring. Here at this non-profit organization help set my foundation for my own education as well as learning the skillset and what it takes to tutor other students who were studying for their SAT and ACT tests, either on a one to one private tutor or a group tutor. I also have experience working with Upward Bound, organizing classrooms to educate and inform students and the public about stem cell research.
As far as what topics to tutor, I am comfortable in tutoring Math and Science to K-12 or high school students.
Throughout my years as a student and researcher, I have read plenty of articles and books, which provides me with experience in grammar.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
