Lizet is very knowledgeable, patient, very good at explaining, I always get a better understanding of a topic after working with Lizet.

Lizet was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding statistics for research. I look forward to continuing to work with her. I recommend her as a tutor for those needing help with applied statistics.

Lizet very patiently walked me through the terminology and usages of various statistics functions. She was prepared with the necessary materials and on time to appointment. I'd recommend her to anyone who needs confidence before a test or project.

Always helpful and knowledgeable. Willing to go out of her way to learn new materials to further help when she can. Definitely recommend Lizet and hope to continue using her throughout my grad program

As an MPH student, we are taught the very basics on SAS Studio just to do the assignment. We are not programmers nor are we required to take an SAS class. Lizet is that professional who taught me somethings I would never have known on my own.

She tutored me in Advanced Statistical Method. She is very articulate and detailed. She has helped me comprehend the subject better.

Lizet had placed everything in to great perspective and in easy understandable terms. She's gone step by step and tout the lessen very easily to understand. She was excellent.

Lizet is an amazing tutor. She was able to help me hastily work through and understand my doctoral-level stats and SAS programming homework! She's a great tutor!

Lizet was great. The session was straight to business and set me up well for studying I can do on my own ahead of our next meeting. She knows SAS really well and above all is quite pleasant and accommodating.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

As an undergrad at MIT, I took Calc I, Calc II, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. At the graduate level, I took Partial Differential Equations and Mathematical Methods in Physics.

I have a Master's Degree in Engineering and as part of the requirements have had Linear algebra as an undergrad and Mathematical Methods in Physics (Linear algebra +). I am currently an MS student in Applied Statistics, and have had a refresher in Linear Algebra as well as used is for my Regression and Computational Statistics courses. I have been a CSULB tutor for nine months.

I have an MS in Applied Statistics from CSULB. I can translate the notation and recommend strategies for solving problems. I love Probability and Statistics so you don't have to.

I am familiar using R for a variety of statistical applications. In terms of college coursework/application: I have taken Mathematical Statistics using R. Graduate-level Linear Regression using R and Non-parametric Statistics using R and SAS.

I have completed upper division SAS course at CSULB (STAT 475 - data analysis with SAS). In my thesis on survey methodology, I used SAS to clean data and analyze it. My coursework (Linear Regression, Experimental Design, and Nonparametric Statistics) required the use of SAS.

I have an MS in Applied Statistics from CSULB. I can translate the notation and recommend strategies for solving problems. I love Probability and Statistics so you don't have to.
