Whether you struggle to keep up in class, need more challenging work, or want to continue learning through the summer, private tutoring is the most effective and efficient way to tackle your academic goals.
By guiding students down their unique path and supporting their strengths, I help them find the confidence they need to make the most of the learning process. Adding a bit of goofiness creates a lighthearted learning environment associated with positive thoughts rather than the unfortunate but common case of students viewing tutoring sessions as a chore. A boring tutor is an ineffective tutor who has a low chance of motivating students to achieve greatness.
I teach and tutor strategically rather than merely showing the steps needed to solve a problem. I follow the College Reading and Learning Association philosophy of promoting independence in learning and facilitating tutee insights into learning and learning processes. This way, the student gains a richer experience at school and practices effective self-study throughout his or her educational career.
Throughout the process, my students discover the aspects of academics that excite them as well as the concepts that frustrate them. By harnessing their strengths and improving their weaknesses, I am able to devise a plan to make them lifelong and passionate learners!
