Hi, I am Kevin Truong. I am a Computer Science major, which I attained at Colorado Technical University. I attained first-class honors and furthered my studies to attain my Master’s in Computer Science at the same university. I specialize in Computer Networking and Linux. Nonetheless, I can handle Computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms, Java and Python programming, and databases.
I have over five years of experience as a tutor. I began tutoring while pursuing my Master’s at Colorado Technical University, where I taught Computer Science to undergraduate students part-time to help my lecturers. Besides, I worked in the computer lab to help create and configure networks for the school and assist students in their projects.
enjoy seeing students sharpen their skills and understand concepts they previously thought were difficult. Besides, I can teach in a classroom and online environment. While tutoring, I understand every student, ensuring I accommodate everyone’s learning pace. Moreover, I am open to answering any questions and sharing my mind on what is best for the student.
I have a firm computer Science background and am passionate about computer networking. I have undertaken different networking courses from Cisco, AWS, and Udemy. Moreover, I have excellent Linux skills and can work as a system administrator. I use Linux for the majority of my activities. My hobbies include automating tasks, configuring networks, writing scripts, and researching different concepts. As a tutor, I can handle Computer Science theory in different areas, such as networking, Linux, UNIX, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms. Still, I am comfortable with the practical side of it as I can work with networks, teach scripting, and handle Java and Python programming.
