I am a full-time tutor with eight years experience in tutoring and teaching Spanish, French, English, ESL, reading and writing composition. My background also includes ACT, SAT, and AP test preparation as well as study help.

I earned my BA in Language with an emphasis of Spanish and French from the University of California at Riverside. I studied Spanish in Santiago, Chile, at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile - Chile's premier university - where I researched Spanish literature and culture. I have completed advanced French courses in conversation, French linguistics and have stayed a significant time in France and Francophone Africa. I have a Certificate of Proficiency in both French and Spanish.

My studies required a mastery of grammar, vocabulary, reading and language usage comprehension. I have helped many students gain thorough understanding of English, Spanish and French with my background.

My tutoring and teaching style is communicative. I place emphasis on developing the ability to articulate ideas. I also stress vocabulary expansion, reading comprehension and individualized study practices. My ultimate goal is to help my students gain skills and to feel empowered and confident, not overwhelmed. I believe that anyone can learn anything as long as they are dedicated to the process.

Please contact me to let me know how I can help. I look forward to working with you!
