In addition, I teach test preparation for both the Fundamental of Engineering (FE) and Professional Engineering (PE) exams. My main focus is on preparing students for the Civil Fundamental Exam (FE) to get EIT (Engineering-In-Training) certificate and helping engineers pass the breadth and depth (structural) section of the PE Civil exam to become licensed as a Civil Professional Engineer. Also, I help Engineers with two other disciplines of the PE Civil exam (Geotechnical and Water Resources), although my concentration is on the Structural discipline.
Because of my M.S. degree in Earthquake engineering, I can help engineers pass the Seismic Principles exam as a state-specific examination of California.

I have an effective approach including a step-by-step instruction for each subject to make problems easy and straightforward for students.
My students always tell me I explain subjects very clearly and make difficult problems easy and interesting.

Excellent teacher of Engineering

Kashi taught me today zero force members and the 3 rules for the zero force members with loaded and unloaded joints. This was my first lesson with Kashi and he is patient, very knowledgeable and a great teacher. Can't wait for more lessons with Kashi.

Patient and helpful tutor

Kashi is a very patient tutor, he realizes when you do not understand something and helps relay it in a way you would understand. Then he ask you to do it to ensure that you completely comprehend it.

Very hands-on and engaging tutor

Kashi was very good at explaining concepts to me in a simplified manner and consistently made me work to try and answer my own questions. He is very patient and willing to work with your strengths and weaknesses and will ensure that the material is simplified enough to understand. Great tutor!

Awesome tutor for the Civil PE Exam

Kashi has been a phenomenal tutor helping me prepare for the Civil PE Exam. He knows the material thoroughly, especially the structural and geotechnical questions. I once sent Kashi a series of questions but forgot to send the answer guide. We were still able to have our tutoring session, as Kashi didn't need to rely on the solutions to solve any of my problems. He's also very responsive, usually responding to my wyzant messages in less than 4 hrs. He was always on time for our scheduled lessons as well. If you're preparing for the PE and need a tutor, I'd highly recommend reaching out to Kashi.

FE EIT

Great tutor to get you ready not only for the test, also the day a day necessary concepts for the civil engineering field. Very patient and knowledgeable, he will let you develop your idea and show you were the mistake was (if any) after you are done.

Clear, effective and patient

Worked on both a Structural Analysis and a Mechanics of Materials problem. Anytime I was confused he took the time and reworked the explanation to make the lesson clearer. Helped me understand what I was wrong about and steps to not make those mistakes again.
