I am an experienced tutor specializing in Human Anatomy/Physiology, Biology, Cellular & Molecular Biology, various sciences, and Algebra (Pre, 1, 2). In addition to tutoring, I'm a current third-year biology student, Certified Personal Trainer, and I am finishing my Emergency Medical Technician certification. As a tutor, I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to the unique needs and goals of each student. As a scholar, I help my students succeed by not only teaching the material in a way that will click with them, but also teaching dynamic study methods, helping students develop a study schedule, and teaching ways to retain the material.

While I was in high school, I enrolled and excelled in honors courses, was a constant Principal's Honor Roll recipient, Student Government Board Leader, GPA Excellence recipient, and Most Inspirational award recipient, just to name a few. I graduated with a 3.99 GPA and went on to attend Vanguard University of Southern California. My entire life has revolved around academics. On my path to becoming a Surgeon, I have excelled in various STEM-related subjects (i.e. biology at various difficulty levels, chemistry, kinesiology, human anatomy and physiology, cellular and molecular, neurology, biology, algebra, calculus, and trigonometry). I believe that this comprehensive education and career experience allows me to help my students succeed in their academic endeavors.

I have excelled in every Algebra course I have taken. Part of what makes me successful in this subject is my ability to look at each problem like a game or puzzle. This mindset takes the intimidation out of each problem and allows me to retain the steps needed to solve the problem every time. I use this mindset to teach my students Algebra in a similar way. I help the student develop confidence in the subject and take on each problem as if it was just a game.
