Born and raised in Hawaii, I graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. I spent my years there also working as a math tutor on campus in the EOP Program(current students) and Summer Bridge Program(incoming freshman). I currently am enrolled seeking my Masters of Arts in Education(Mathematics - Secondary) and Teaching Credential.
I've always known that teaching in some capacity was my destiny. I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to teach in a classroom setting as well as take on the position of a private math tutor since 2005. I enjoy the 1-on-1 interaction with students where I can provide my undivided attention. To see the look in their eyes when understanding is achieved is the greatest feeling for me and I suspect for them as well.

My passion for Mathematics is undeniable. My energy is infectious. My excitement at passing on my knowledge is unmatched. I have spent many years tutoring intermediate, high school, and college students in courses ranging from Pre-Algebra to Calculus and Statistics. I realized that my work was better served and I made a greater impact in what I call the "Foundational Classes" which were Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Geometry. Though I must say, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus are my favorite classes to teach.

Students, I would love an opportunity to share my knowledge with you. Math isn't always easy, I get that. We can get through it though if we work together. You will hopefully see that I eat, sleep, and breathe mathematics and perhaps this is an opportunity for me to share my passion with you.
I'd like to leave you with a favorite motto of mine. I call it my "CCC" motto. It goes like this - "To be successful in Mathematics one needs to be Comfortable, Confident, and above all, Careful". Let's talk about this.
