Hi! My name is Bex and offer various subjects to tutor. I went to La Sierra University, Mount St. Mary's University and Los Angeles Film School and graduated with a 4.0. I majored in Business Administration and completed my Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Business.
I have had various experiences playing volleyball for about 20 years. I played in middle school, high school, and also at the collegiate level. I have extensive experience playing chess since I was about 7-8 years old and have competed in numerous tournaments with a rating of 1600. I have also taught chess for about 4 years.
I own my own company and I offer social media marketing services. I've had my own company for about the past 4 years now and have mentorship programs for people of ages. I have a high school internship program as well as a college internship program. Lastly, I used to teach preschool in cheviot hills and have experience in building curriculums. My experience is working with ages 9-22.
I believe in creating an environment that makes learning fun. I think anyone can learn the skill set to become great at what they do. It's just a matter of whether or not you want to work hard to get it. I'm very organized and utilize curriculums to make sure our time together is very structured. My previous students have seen progress in just a week of tutoring! If you give me the chance, I can teach and improve your skills in any of these subjects. I take a fun and gentle approach to all my tutoring classes and make the experience enjoyable for anyone that's willing to learn and improve on their skills. I believe that practice makes perfect and that the more repetition you get, not only will you learn the skill but you will excel and understand it.
