El Camino College (Biochemistry)
Hey students, and friends I hope you are all doing well and eager to pursue higher education. I would like to say that many of us just tackle homework problems and get bored of school work. True education is fun and exciting and will make you look forward to more tougher, challenging subjects. I am a student myself, and gone through many ups and downs. I hope to relate to all of you. I am tutoring to retain my knowledge and guide young minds into a promising tomorrow. I don't just mean by education, but life in general. I like to go over math, chemistry and I may start biology and physics as well. I am reviewing all materials. I have learned most of the subjects for sometime now, but I never stop learning because everyone of you students are talented and unique and will enlighten me every step. Let's keep our eyes on the goal. Hoping to hear from you soon!
I have completed all chemistry courses at El Camino college, anywhere from General Chemistry to Organic Chemistry. Chemistry gets real tough but it starts to relate to biology and physics and it just gets real fun, and deep. I have a broad knowledge from taking many courses biology, anatomy, physics, and etc. I like to build an interactive learning environment for all student. My teaching method is different from other teacher, why? If I did teach as all teachers do and the student hasn't gained anything from that lecture then, doing a repeat will do no benefit. We will look at plenty of concepts and definitions because these are the key for a true learning experience. We will tackle questions together so the student develops the habit to work problems by themselves, and learn that errors are normal, and errors are to be welcomed because if you don't fail you haven't really tried hard enough!
Don't hesitate to talk to me, I am very easy to talk to and I'll get back to you ASAP. Bring plenty of questions, and your notebooks because I like to go over your teacher/professor's lecture notes. By being specific with me you will get more for your time (time restrictions), i construct a personal lesson plan for your needs and will present that to our future lesson. Great note taking skills can help you with the language/ communication skills that are required in the real world. I hope to teach you all something new and i too will look forward to meeting you all in the near future. I hope to be inspiring and to be inspired by all unique individuals. Let's have a fun study/ discussion time I hope you all to enjoy your school life. Thanks!

My tutoring session with Karuel was great. He was very patient and understanding. He taught me new methods to attack problems, he cleared up my misunderstanding, and gave me new suggestions on how to improve my study habits. He is very good at communicating and he prepares sample questions and worksheets ahead of time for upcoming sessions.
He helped my son (11th grade) to understand how to graph parabolas with vertical shrink/stretch as part of his Precalculus class. Karuel was well prepared for the class and patient. I will highly recommend him. Thank you!
My son said he is learning a lot. Karuel is very professional, prompt, and he really seems to care and enjoy teaching.
My child has learning disability. He is very patience with him. Received feedback from my son that Karuel is able to help him well with his homework.. Great job Karuel..keep up the great work helping students like my son. Thanks for your passion and dedication to help children struggling in school work!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have taken high school level algebra and had a blast, earned my A. when getting into college I also took college level algebra as well finishing with an A. although I have done well in algebra, I remember I had many issues and I hope to relate to all students and hope to make their studying fun and enjoyable. I am also a current Calculus student so I use algebra extensively.
I am a current Calculus student at SMC. Algebra is done meticulously and it's something of a staple when it comes to doing Calculus. I have previously taken precalculus and algebra leading to those two classes. I have gotten B or better for both classes.
I have taken chemistry in High school did decent, struggled too so I can recall mistakes I and other issues students may have. I have taken the chemistry series in college level did well in general chemistry and finished the organic series as well. but since I've been tutoring it I'm getting quite comfortable with it.
I am a current Calculus student. I took geometry in high school and had a wonderful time taking it. I received an A and I hope to help your daughter out with her current class needs. i want all of my students and children to pursuit and continue to achieve higher education.
Prealgebra is the key to all subjects in the science field. I have taken prealgebra in High school and earned my A. and also in College.
I Have taken Precalculus during the college years and did well. precalculus can be tricky but fun because of the complexity, and it's applications to the wider field of subjects. I can recall the mistakes and the difficulties I experienced and hope to relate to all.
I have taken trigonometry in my high school years and at time of transferring into the college I took it again. I did very well both times, and that wasn't the end of it. you will keep seeing it through calculus. But I feel like that helped me with plenty and now I'm ready to share the knowledge.
