I am so happy to be working with Carrie! She is a very skilled educator and works well one:one. She is patient, encouraging, and skilled with feedback. She knows traditional as well as simplified characters and her fluency allows her to correct even the slightest flaw in speaking, if that's a focus for the student. She is very flexible and is working with my materials from a previous program with ease and grace. I feel very comfortable with her and trust her completely and my Chinese is getting better by the day under her tutelage. I can't say enough good things. Contact her today!
Carrie personalizes my classes and is very patient with me. She emphasis my pronunciation and gives me tools to get things right. I appreciate her working with me to learn the things I am interested in. Very good classes.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
