I've been tutoring younger kids for six years since I was a freshman in high school. I love sparking an interest in a new subject, creating those ah-ha moments when a student finally gets it. I've been tutoring younger kids for six years since I was a freshman in high school. I love sparking an interest in a new subject, creating those ah-ha moments when a student finally gets it. But one thing I learned early with young students is that they aren't satisfied with learning test tricks or memorizing equations. They need to fully grasp the material. Since I've started teaching high school and college students, I've found that we build the most successful tutoring sessions around creating that fundamental understanding.

I'm a visual learner, so a critical component of my teaching style is creating a visual demonstration. I work hard to prepare these before sessions so that we can maximize our time together. I got 5's on all my STEM AP's, a 36 on the ACT, 1570 on the SAT, and have a 4.0 GPA as an applied physics undergraduate. I hope that the combination of my knowledge and teaching style can help students get the most out of their classes.

I first took multivariable calculus as a junior in high school four years ago. I've been tutoring at all levels of calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra since then. I also was a TA for my high school's Calculus class my senior year.

I've been tutoring economics for three years. I tutor Micro and Macro at my college and got 5s on both APs. In my senior year in high school, I taught an economics course to help prepare a team to compete in two economics competitions. I won the individual portion of the Harvard Pre-Collegiate Economics Challenge my senior year.

Andrew was so helpful!

I needed an urgent session after some miscommunication with a different tutor. Andrew responded almost instantly and was very accommodating. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the material. I look forward to booking with him again.
