I have more than 5 years experience in professional programming. I've been working for major universities (non-academic positions) in Los Angeles and am specialized in web applications as well as windows form applications.
At work, I have been giving SQL and programming trainings to junior programmers. I also help student workers to understand basic principles and design patterns of professional programming. I explain complex programming concepts in simple language (not fancy jargons to scare you out) and help you visualize the logic as if it is a roadmap on hand. I use programming examples that either I came across in my professional experiences or are something very close to industry standard to bring you a real picture of what real programming looks like.
Besides all these, I am also a fun person to work with. I hope to help you succeed in your learning path. I have more than 5 years experience in professional programming. Louis was a great help. He walked through my code and helped me find some mistakes I had made and correct the errors.
Louis was very efficient in using the time slot requested to answer all my questions. Will definitely request again in the future!
Louis is a great tutor. He teaches according to the student's knowledge background and need with a clear thinking and meaningful materials. He's very responsible, too.
So far so good, we are only a week in but the kids like him and he engages them well!
I've been having problems running a Java Script code. Louis was able to sit down with me and carefully explain the necessary steps to take in order to get it to run. When he noticed I didn't understand, he tried another way to explain it. Louis is very patient and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with programming languages.
Louis was extremely helpful and patient in helping me with my coding assignment. He explained the topics clearly and
whenever I had questions he found a way to help me understand, and if I didn't he explained it another way until I did. He is a great tutor
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Most of the courses in my Master's degree in Computer had lab classes that required C programming. More advanced classes include OS programming, multithread programming, and working out a torrent application. I am a professional programmer in VB.NET.
I took classes at UCLA Extension in C# programming and earned a certificate on Applications Programming Certificate with Concentration in C# .NET. I also work on C# coding in my professional aspect. My projects include ASP.NET using C# code files as well as windows form programming.
I've earned a Master's degree in Computer subject. Most of the courses have lab classes that require C programming which is an even more advanced version of C++. Also in my undergraduate study, I did a couple other computer classes in C++ and got excellent grades as well. As a professional programmer in VB.NET I'm sure I'm qualified to tutor for C++.
Visual Basic is my current professional day-to-day routine. I code for web applications as well as windows form applications. More than half of these codes are in VB.NET. Enhancing our VB.NET framework is also part of my duties as well. VB.NET has very similar syntax as C# for which I've earned an Applications Programming Certificate with Concentration in C# .NET from UCLA Extension.
