In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I am an avid reader and feel that reading in general is my best subject. Yes, I captured my love of writing through exercising my mind reading various works of literature, novellas and graphic novels. I am extremely confident in my ability to help children experiencing difficulties with reading.
I recall the days of studying for the SAT and ACT, something that wasn't extremely fun. However, I always performed really well on the reading sections of these type of examinations.
