About Eve

Effective Communications, Writing and ESL with Business Focus

My main subjects are...

WRITING, COPYEDITING, ESSAYS, creative writing for school (Junior High thru University) or business needs, articles, presentations and public speaking. I handle cover letters and resumés. (see business credentials below).
I copyedited the non fiction book 'The Encyclopedia of Voiceover' by Kate McClanaghan.
I also work in the voice-over industry. I am tutoring so I have time to complete 2 novels.
I excel at creative encouragement, believing everyone can write when prompted properly.
I assist with university level essays, focusing on 'voice', format, and flow.

ESL/ESOL -I enjoy teaching ESL students, especially with a focus on business and job needs and higher education. I currently teach Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Hispanic and Russian people. Many students have formal training in grammar and speaking. I enjoy taking it to a higher level with natural conversation, commonly used phrases and listening and pronunciation skills. Along with improving english, I also offer business consulting (based on my qualifications listed below) and help with business proposals, presentations, letters, emails, and meetings.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT- As a former Marketing, Public Relations and PR manager in the automotive industry (Rolls-Royce Motor Cars) I excel at public speaking, communication, press, media, sales training, CRM, branding and experiential marketing events and concepts. I dealt with many franchises and customers and believe innovative and informed marketing concepts are best when tailor-made to clients, rather than the repeated run-of-the-mill practices.

Along with my corporate business credentials, I also enjoyed being a certified instructor of martial arts (Okinawan Karate) for all ages for many years. Therefore, I have handled large classrooms of adults and children safely and effectively.

I believe in getting down to business and detailing goals. Learning should be enjoyable and patient. I'm understanding and offer constructive praise and corrections. I also enjoy relating to children and teens by encouraging expression and understanding their needs with insight, kindness and patience.

I enjoy seeing students grow and excel, but by prompting the use of their own minds, rather than lecturing.
