I have played the violin since age five. I have been lucky enough to perform all over the world, and have also made many many recordings for television, motion picture, artist recordings and radio broadcasts. I have been teaching violin and music since I was ten years old!!! I love teaching. By now I have taught all ages and held professorial positions at the college level.
My teaching/tutoring experience includes helping elementary school pupils with their reading. I have loved that as much as teaching music.
Teaching students and being involved in their learning processes is a wondrous joy. Experiencing their awakenings and progresses is a privilege.
I love words. I love how they express ideas and thoughts, hopes, and wishes.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
