Over the past 20 years, I have taught Italian to students of all ages and backgrounds. I have a Bachelor's degree in Italian and a secondary teaching credential from San Francisco State University. I love to help students gain an understanding of Italian grammar from an English-speaking point of view, or improve conversational ability for an upcoming trip.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have a Bachelor's Degree and Single Subject Secondary credential in Italian. I have tutored hundreds of students, from beginners to advanced, over the past 15 years. Since Italian is not my native language, I am especially adept at helping speakers of English approach Italian as a second language.
Some people have perfect pitch. Others can juggle. When I read a passage, errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation jump out at me. All of my friends and family bring their writing to me before they turn it in because they know I have a good eye for proofing and a natural feel for editing as well. I am certificated in proofreading and editing, with experience ranging from school papers to novels.
