Berklee College of Music
Hello my name is Jeff. I have a degree in Music from Berklee College of Music. I teach private guitar lessons from beginner to advanced in the styles of Blues/Rock/Pop. I also teach beginning bass and piano lessons. I can teach you about music theory, how to read music, songwriting, scales and soloing or learning your favorite songs.
I have been teaching private music lessons for over 8 years. I also teach band classes and have taught group guitar classes as well. I customize my lessons to each student. I won't make you learn how to read music if you don't want to, although I do think there is a great benefit to knowing how to read music. I know there are students who just want to learn to play their favorite songs and we can work on that as long as you have the skills needed to play the song. If you don't, then we have to work on technique to get you there.
I'm a very easy going, patient teacher. I've taught students as young as 5 all the way up to adults. I do believe you will benefit from the lessons if you commit to a consistent practice schedule. My goal is for you to grow as a musician and enjoy the process.
I look forward to hearing from you. Hello my name is Jeff. I have a degree in Music from Berklee College of Music. I teach private guitar lessons from beginner to advanced in the styles of Blues/Rock/Pop. I also teach beginning bass and … Read more

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
