Now getting an A in class! Maggie has made all the difference. She is very patient and kind. She knows how to make math make sense in the real world. Highly recommend her!
Maggie helped my adult son study for the ASVAB test to enlist in the Navy. He has been out of school for many years & math is his worst subject. She made up work sheets for him to do between sessions. He took the test this week & passed. At times there were personality issues, but all in all she helped him.
I needed help with the ASVAB test to get into the military. The first time I toke the ASVAB I got a 42 afqt score. Maggie was the first one to respond to me and help me out. She tutored me for 4 days. I then took the test recently and scored a 57. Maggie was clear and precise on math word problems and math knowledge.
Great tutor and teacher.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
