She came to help my son with his writing assignment, and she was very patient in taking time explaining sentence structure. My son is very impressed with how much he had learned from 1 session with her. Highly recommended!
Eliane is knowledgeable in her expertise. If you need help with Language Arts, she is the person you are looking for. She will help you understand on what do wrong when practicing for the SAT, ACT, and other assignments with English and essays.
I am a parent on the opposite coast from my son in college. Eliane is the person I rely on to provide accurate guidance to suit the needs which change weekly with regard to assignments in three courses. I don't go into panic now that she meets with my son twice a week. I get a thorough follow up note from her on what happened in the session and I feel tremendous relief that someone who knows what he needs is assisting him. Awesome.
We have been using Eliane's services for a few weeks now and are very happy with what she is doing with our student. She gives a summary of what was done with the student to keep us abreast of developments and also to reinforce at home. She also gives homework that is appropriate - not too much. This helps to reinforce what was done at the tutoring session. She is very solicitous about her student and flexible with scheduling. We are very happy with her services.
She is really helpful to me. The way she is giving examples, walking through the steps with me and structuring my idea is very useful. She is a very experienced an excellent tutor. I am so glad I found her.
Elaine was very knowledgeable and helpful with my son while working with him on his schedule and at his level of proficiency with regard to his junior college course subject.
My daughter is a Junior in High School and is taking AP English. After the first session, my daughter was not only happy, she was ENTHUSIASTIC about the progress she made on her next writing project. She has mentioned several times how great the session was, and I think it really gave her more confidence as she goes into this 4-AP class semester she is taking on. What a difference! I would highly recommend Elaine for AP English.
I am very happy with her. She seemed interested in helping me out.
Getting the creative juices out of my mind and jotting them on to paper.
I give her a 5 out of 5!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
