I've enjoyed teaching college and adult students for more than 25 years. I have a diverse background and my areas of expertise are in exam prep, essays, marketing, business, writing/editing, communications, speech, english, career development, HR, college mentoring, job search and more. I love to help students find their passion, test preparation, succeed in college, land their first job and grow their careers. Over the years I'm taught thousands of students and mentored hundreds where I've helped them obtain internships and full-time employment. I love to help you find your passion and do your best!
I have a MA in Speech and Organizational Communications and a BA in Journalism and PR. I've taught speech at a university level and have lectured at a university setting for more than 25 years.
I've helped my students with study guides and tutored them to succeed on course exams. I have experience mentoring students to help them with their careers and succeed in college.
I've taught desktop publishing since 1993 at a university level. My background in graphic design and desktop publishing is extensive including 30 years in a marketing communications role where I developed corporate branding including logos, guidelines, brochures, newsletters, websites, email, event graphics, advertisements, and digital marketing. I have experience with Adobe Creative Suites including InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator and MS Office.
I've worked as a marketing manager and marketing director in business management for three decades. I've also taught marketing and public relations at a university level for two decades.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
