I've taught computer science concepts from computer architecture/organization to programming in lower level languages, all the way to mobile programming for iOS. I've TA'd for classes back in Michigan and have done a lot of tutoring for college level programming classes. I can help you with C, C++, Java, Objective C, Swift, Python, Perl, or even your Wordpress website.
I also provide computing coach services for OS X. Learn how to make the most effective use of all of the tools available to you. This service includes matching you with productivity software tailored to your needs and teaching you the ins and outs of the software.
I have a wide perspective on what makes computing so important - it's the human problems that we can use computers to solve. My goal in teaching computer science is making sure students understand the core concepts so they can apply these methods of thinking to any problem they encounter!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I can tutor all levels of biology, including college level genetics, cell biology, physiology, etc.
I've tutored C and C++ classes up to the algorithms and data structures level for both the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University
I've tutored for EECS 280 at University of Michigan which is the algorithms and data structures class for the Computer Science Major. I have programmed in C++ and work in Swift, and Objective-C, which is built on C++. Much of my instruction in computer programming was either in C++ or Java.
I've tutored for Java, C++ and can teach swift as well. I've programmed myself in these languages, and am most familiar with those three. I have also programmed in python.
I have taken quite a few computer science classes as a post baccalaureate student. I TA'd for a couple of classes. I can do computer organization, algorithms and data structures, networking, databases, and the like.
I have a degree in Human Biology, and took a college level genetics class. Much of my following coursework also required genetics knowledge. I have tutored high school genetics. I've working in a pharmaceutical sciences lab and a immunology lab where knowledge of genetics was essential to the job.
I have been using macs for about a decade. I code for iOS and the Mac line up of products. I can help with the right application for the job, or to show the ins and outs of common applications. I can also get all of your accounts set up for cloud sharing across devices, set up a home network, or show you some cool new keyboard shortcuts
I am a Swift programmer currently working on iOS projects for my own business. I've switched from using Objective-C, which I have 3 years experience coding with. I code with my husband, and we have a few apps on the app store, and are currently working on a few more.
