Sign Language has been my passion since I first started taking it in high school. I am a motivated person and I want that to reflect and encourage the people I meet and tutor. I have experience tutoring fellow classmates as well as younger students in numerous subjects.
I truly enjoy helping people reach their goals and become successful. Tutoring is a good way for me to do this and I love making connections with people. There may be times when things become difficult, but I will not give up on someone even if they feel like giving up themselves. It is important that everyone accomplishes what they are wanting to do and I want to be apart of that.

I encourage anyone and everyone who is eager to learn to contact me and I will be there to help. I will do my best to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible and love the language and the culture as much as I do. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a recent graduate student from Cal State Northridge. I received my degree in Deaf Studies so I am fluent in American Sign Language. I have recent experience in tutoring, tutoring past classmates in ASL as well as other students striving to success. My tutoring methods are based on peoples' ability. This meaning I am patient and will work at a slower pace with beginners and for anyone who is at an intermediate level, I make sure to continue to help them improve.
