I am a native Spanish speaker who has 8 years of experience as a bilingual teacher. Since my teaching days I have worked in different industries, however, teaching is my true passion. I love working with individuals of all ages, in order to enhance their ability to communicate with people who speak foreign languages. As a bilingual teacher I worked with children who primarily spoke Spanish and introduced them to English, and as a tutor for Santa Monica Elementary, I worked with native English speakers to enhance their Spanish skills.
Personally, I believe that knowing more than one language is crucial in today's connected world. I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge and helping individuals become more skilled. I am a very enthusiastic, friendly, and responsible teacher who is patient with students of all levels.
I was born and raised in Mexico, and attended one of the most prestigious universities, ITESMUN. I have direct experience as a bilingual Spanish teacher with students of different levels and various styles of learning. I have also been the coordinator of a bilingual Parent Center, and feel comfortable working with individuals of all ages. If you are in need of an experienced Spanish tutor who is passionate and will make learning easy and fun, please feel free to reach out to me! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
