Pasadena Conservatory of Music (Flute Performance)
Will A., a flutist, has studied with Sandy Kipp, Jo Stoup, and Dr. Jenni Olson. He is currently the Assistant Director of Music at John Burroughs High School, as well as the Assistant Band Director of Burbank High School. Will has coached woodwinds at John Muir Middle School, Burbank High School, Burroughs High School, Edison Elementary, Bret Harte Elementary, and Roosevelt Elementary.
He has performed with Valley Symphony Orchestra, Valley Wind Ensemble, Burbank Summer Symphony, and Idyllwild Arts Academy Wind Ensemble at Disney Hall.
Will has been coaching flute for about 9 years. He's a a local young musician just trying to find students that are willing to learn. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Will , a clarinetist, has studied privately with Dr. Wendy Mazon of Mazon Studios and Christin Hablewitz, a clarinet ensemble composer.
He has performed on clarinet with the Valley Wind Ensemble, Burbank Clarinet Choir and the Burbank Summer Symphony on Bass Clarinet.
Will teaches beginning and intermediate clarinet through the children's music workshop throughout elementary schools in the Los Angeles region.

Band Director at a separate High School. Will has coached woodwinds at a Middle School, two High Schools, and three elementary schools.
Will has studied music for over 16 years of his life. Starting with chorus at an early age and eventually making his move towards instrumental music.
I have finished 2.5 years of music schooling through the music department at Pasadena City College, and at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.
Will tutors and teaches music theory at John Burroughs High School in the AP level.
Past employers include the Saturday Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, where I taught beginning level theory and harmony level 3 along with basic keyboard.
I worked as a general music education teacher for UCLA's Sunset Recreation Center over the Summer.
I have Completed 3 levels of Harmony and 1 level of Counterpoint.

Will has performed and gigged as a woodwind doubler. Besides his primary instruments, flute and clarinet, most gigs require sax as well.
Past gigs on lead sax include productions of, Legally Blonde the Musical, How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Sweet Charity, Into The Woods, and Sweeney Todd.
Will currently serves as the music director for the Burbank Summer Symphony, a new youth orchestra in the city of Burbank.
Will coaches violin and the full strings ensemble for an extra rehearsal before the full rehearsal with the winds.
Will is primarily a violist and has studied viola with Dr. Bryan Tyler of the Boston Conservatory of music.
