I a student new the the Los Angeles area, I am from San Diego, California and I am going to school to study at California State University Northridge, studying Deaf Studies.
However, if I can be a service in helping young adults as well as children learning American Sign Language, it would be an honor to do so.
I am compassionate when it comes to tutoring people about American Sign Language, for I never had anyone in my family that was deaf or hard of hearing but I have found out through out my life that there are deaf and hearing impaired individuals that need assistance more so than people coming to America to start a new life and learning English.
When I have met these people over the years, they were so grateful that there is someone out there that can assist them with their needs and I was able to provide that for them. So if I can make a difference in their lives, so can you!
So by tutoring and teaching one American Sign Language will be an honor for me to pass this down to next generation of future sign language interpreters assisting those who are hearing impaired and /or deaf.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
