In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have always enjoyed cooking and this is one activity that I loved to do with young children. I enjoy teaching them importance of measurement, following directions, and the importance of cleanliness.

I have over 15 years teaching college and high school level speech. I event helped a third grader improve his presentation skills for his class with great success.
I have been swimming since the age of 5. I was previously certified as Water Safety Instructor. I believe it is important to break it down in steps. I start with kicking against the wall. Next we blow bubbles. After words we work to show the laws of balance i.e. head goes up the feet go down. If we keep the head level and blow the air out we will not go down.
