During the pandemic I started tutoring Algebra over Zoom for a family friend and discovered I really enjoy teaching one-on-one. I recently obtained my CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test) scoring highest in mathematics. In STEM there are usually multiple ways to solve the same problem. Some students have difficulty finding the method that makes the most sense to them. I believe that teaching students multiple methods allows them to look at the problem from different perspectives and allows them to have a better understanding.
