Cal State University, Fullerton (Kinesiology)
Hello! My name is Ashley and I have been a physical education teacher for four years. I have grown up learning about and playing all different types of sports, games, and activities. As I got older, I was fortunate enough to be able to take my love of athletics and fitness and make them my career.
I love working with students and helping them grow through physical activity. I specialize in soccer as well as fitness and conditioning and love working with students of all ages and skill levels. I feel that everyone has room to grow and that everyone can be successful. I have also had success helping students with special needs (autism, as perfects, physical disabilities, blind, deaf and hard of hearing) improve their fitness through modified activities.
I hope that I am able to meet you soon in the beautiful California sunshine to help you, or your child, improve their skill in soccer, fitness, or physical education.
Students with special needs have use for fitness as well. I have worked for five years helping students with special needs fine-tune their motor skills through modified physical activity. I have found that physical activity can be a good place for them to learn focus as well as help them live a more active lifestyle to the best of their ability.
I have been playing and coaching soccer my entire life. I grew up playing all of the major sports on teams, in camps, or out with friends. As I got into college I learned how to take what I knew on the field/court/gym and teach it to students of various abilities. I have coached soccer with students age 9 through high school. I have been a conditioning coach with high school teams and with middle school clubs.

I have been teaching and doing one on one training for general fitness for the past four years. My main focus is on strength and conditioning. I work with all ages and levels of fitness/abilities. I have abundant knowledge in key concepts and principles pertaining to fitness that I utilize to help students get in shape for general health or for a sport. I tailor my trainings to what each student needs. For example, plyometrics based workouts for students looking to get fit for basketball, speed and agility for soccer, cardio and strength for general fitness. All students are capable of living a fit and healthy lifestyle.
