Cal State, Fullerton (Master's)
I am currently a dental hygiene student working on my degree at West Coast University. I have a master's degree in kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton and bachelor's degree in physiological science from UCLA. I am happy to say that dental hygiene will be my final degree. Following my undergraduate work at UCLA, I worked as a substitute teacher in math and science. I have continued teaching as a private tutor for the past three years in pre-calculus, ACT math, marine biology, and I am proficient in anatomy and physiology. I have a knack for simplifying concepts and making them easier to understand for students and really enjoy teaching.

Yoshi has been great with my son, who was struggling with his Geometry course. Yoshi helps him understand the concepts and remember them, so when test time comes he is ready. He also helps him with Biology and is very helpful with that, as well.
We are very happy that we found Yoshi. He is able to help us 2-3 times a week after my son's sports schedule.
We needed a tutor right away. I sent request via WyzAnt and Yoshi responded within a hour time. Yoshi was exactly what we needed for my son's final for Chemistry and geometry.
He is very knowledgeable and he was able to grasp my son's needs. After he reviewed a concepts he immediately recognized that he didn't know it. He took the time to explain.
I would recommend Yoshi.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Anatomy is almost like learning a foreign language with a large amount of information, but that does not mean it has to be difficult. I have been studying anatomy and physiology since I was a sophomore in high school and have my bachelor's degree from UCLA in physiology and am currently enrolled in grad school at Cal State Fullerton in kinesiology. My knowledge is extensive, and I can teach you how to study and understand anatomy in a simplistic manner.
I took the DAT 07/19/12 and my academic average was a 22, which equates to a 98.9% for my exam. The rest of my scores were: perceptual ability 24, quantitative reasoning 24, reading comprehension 20, biology 19, general chemistry 22, and organic chemistry 24. I obtained these scores by studying on my own and a lot of dedication. I used the most highly respected study materials and still have these materials to share with students. I understand what it takes to train to obtain very high scores on the DAT and know how to convey this to students.
I have been studying anatomy and physiology since I was a sophomore in high school and have my bachelor's degree from UCLA in physiology, which is one of the most difficult and detailed majors there. I am currently enrolled in grad school at Cal State Fullerton in kinesiology, and my knowledge of human movement continues to grow. Let me help lend you my years of learning to improve your grades.
