I am happy to tutor other math subjects as well, including university math courses.
In addition to my teaching credential, I have also received a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, and a M.A. in Education from UC Davis. I have a passion for math, teaching, and education in general, and would love to continue working in this capacity, even if for the time being I cannot do so in the classroom.
I am happy to arrange sessions through Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, Discord, or really any other online platform you feel comfortable with. Please send me a message if you have any questions, or if you would like to arrange a session.
Math Teaching Credential. Six years of experience teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics (all under the California Common Core State Standards).
Math is a creative and open-ended subject - in addition to helping achieve mastery of math concepts, I strive to help develop an appreciation for the intricacies of math as a thought-provoking discipline. If you are curious about learning more about my teaching/tutoring style, please feel free to send me a message!
