I am a third year dental candidate at WesternU of Health Sciences, pursing a DMD degree. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of California, Irvine in 2011 with a Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship. During my time at UCI, I have been placed on the Dean's List for 4 quarters. In my free time, I enjoy helping the underprivileged community, as I am someone who grew up with similar circumstances. Some of my past experiences include humanitarian trips to Panama, homeless shelters, and tutoring for Boy and Girls Club.
My main goal is to effectively improve your child's education by tailoring my teaching to the student's needs. During my five years of tutoring experience, I have learned that each student’s learning style is unique; therefore, every lesson plan and teaching method is specific for the child. I have extensive experience in one-on-one tutoring on many subjects, including Biology, SAT, ACT, English, and Math. One student receiving SAT tutoring increased her score by 280 points, as she earned an official score of 2020. I strive to not only teach the students but also to build close, personable relationships with both students and their families. Hello,

Alexander was able to explain things to me that didn't make sense to me. He was patient with my reading and overall very helpful.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
