I can meet you using zoom, whatsapp, skype, or perhaps another tool you personally might prefer (the ones I mention just seem to be the most popular options right now). Most of us are still figuring it out, so let's go from there. Don't hesitate trying something new, it'll be fine!
So what can I help with? Basically the same as with in-person tutoring: I can help you with finishing any homework assignments, prepare for the midterm exam or test, going with you through the subjects of a chapter in the book you're using, and many other possible options.

A bit about me: I earned a PhD in Chemistry, as well as a bachelor of Math overseas in Germany, and worked as a researcher for five years, three of those in the U.S.; among various enjoyable positions - other than Science- and Math- related, I worked as an IT Instructor in Sydney, Australia for several years; in the same country I also managed a large eBay Sales Business (built from scratch), with the assistance of a program employing disadvantaged youth. I also worked as a business project manager for a large corporation in Germany for three years.

I continued teaching and tutoring Chemistry and Math subjects since 1995 (small classes, 1-on-1-up to 10); I have lived in different places worldwide, tutoring/coaching and teaching in Europe, Australia and the USA. I have over 16 years of experience in any Chemistry / Math related tutoring, as well as teaching small and large groups. If you tried tutoring before but didn't get the desired results, I encourage you to try it one more time.

I have mostly taught University/College class level, but also many high school students, and also worked in adult education (in beginning computer science classes). I have many strong references - all recent college students and/or parents of high school students alike, all from the Bay area, where I have taught dozens of students just in the last few years. I am doing in-person tutoring now for over 16 years, and since late last year I have also started with online-tutoring, following the general trend. In the last 12 years or so I have helped hundreds of Bay area students with Algebra and other Math classes; I earned a PhD in Chemistry and a Bachelor in Math (in Germany). Locally I had Math students from most Colleges in the SF Bay Area: SFSU, USF, UC Berkeley, CCSF, Skyline, College of San Mateo, Canada College, Foothill etc. Online students are naturally from anywhere in the U.S., incl all time zones! To summarize, I can help you with: exam prep/practice exams/online exams, any homework prep., assignments & quizzes, Math labs, and ANY other Math or Algebra-related tasks. Patient and very knowledgeable tutor

Michael helped some concepts in biochemistry such as reactions and naming. Some salient points I did not get by hours of YouTube and in class teachings. I will recommend his online tutor platform to teach students. Always on time and professional and very patient.

Super helpful.

Michael was able to accommodate me short notice and was very helpful. I appreciate his efforts and look forward to working with him in the future. He helped me with some post lab organic chem questions.

Best tutor ever

Michael tutored me in organic chemistry for a year and literally saved me. I got A's because of him and I totally could not have done it without him. Definitely recommend!

Excellent Chemistry tutor

We just had our first session for our son who is struggling in honors Chemistry. Michael jumped right in and very efficiently worked through the problems that were causing him difficulty. He also provided excellent studying suggestions and resources. I would highly recommend Michael's services.

Deep organic chemistry knowledge, great teacher

Enjoyed working with Michael. Very kind person who is a great teacher. Quickly understood what material I was working on and was great in helping me understand both the details and the key concepts. Have worked with a few wyzant tutors recently and Michael was head and shoulders above the others. Highly highly recommend.

Introducing amazing resources

Our son is in Precalc (HS); does great on quizzes and homework, needs some "why do we; how do we" dialogue. Michael met with us, reviewed son’s work and provided both suggestions and support. Hopefully we will continue and grateful for this orientation to tutoring via Wyzant!

Michael is a ROCKSTAR!

Michael was an amazing tutor! He was so knowledgeable, patient, and easy to get a hold of. He was very accommodating with my schedule. We met on a weekly basis and his constant encouragement, wisdom, and supplemental resources helped me to get the grade I was striving for! He went above and beyond to help me survive O-Chem and I can't thank him enough. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. You'll be in very good hands!
