That’s why I strive to bring energy, clarity, and encouragement into every tutoring session.
In my time as a Community Outreach Coordinator for USC’s Health Sciences Education Program, I’ve taught over 100 high school students in weekly presentations on topics like Cardiovascular Health and Forensic Medicine. I make it a priority to explain complex material in a way that feels approachable, and to adapt based on each student’s learning style.
My tutoring sessions usually start with an engaging introduction to the topic, followed by step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice. I believe learning should be both effective and enjoyable — and I’m always open to feedback to make sessions even more helpful. My experience spans the sciences, public health, and even coding (Python, R, mySQL), so I’m happy to support students across a wide range of subjects.
