Bio

I love tutoring students in STEM because I want to help others succeed in a really competitive and challenging field.

I can provide assistance in course-specific studying and problem sets as well as provide advising in high level course navigation.

I can provide assistance in course-specific studying and problem sets as well as provide advising in high level course navigation.

Previously I worked at UC Berkeley as a Teaching Assistant in three EECS course (Data Structures, Discrete Math & Probability, Designing Devices and Systems). I've completed three software engineering internships at various tech companies in the Bay Area, working on backend, frontend, and machine learning projects. I also tutored privately in various college level computer science, math, and physics courses.

Overall GPA: 3.8/4.0
Relevant coursework:
Programming (CS61A),
Data Structures (CS61B),
Discrete Math & Probability (CS70),
Devices & Systems (EE16A),
Computer Architecture (CS61C),
Devices & Systems II (EE16A),
Upper Division Algorithms (CS170),
Machine Learning (CS189),

Subjects

Computer

Computer Engineering,

Computer Engineering

I have taken many courses relevant to Computer Engineering throughout my undergraduate degree such as Computer Architecture, Data Structure, and Operating Systems to name a few. I have also completed several Software Engineering Internships at tech companies in the bay area where I worked across the stack. I also tutored in some of these subjects at UC Berkeley as a teaching assistant for some of these courses.
Computer Science,

Computer Science

I have recently completed my degree in EECS at UC Berkeley and have several software engineering internship experiences. I studied and worked in various domains in computer science ranging from operating systems, frontend development, backend development, and machine learning. I've also taught several courses at UC Berkeley in the EECS department as a Teaching Assistant.

Math

Discrete Math,

Discrete Math

I completed coursework in Computer Science for my Bachelor's degree which include Discrete Math, as well as other closely related subjects in the same domain. I have taken several more rigorous math class such as Machine Learning and upper division Probability Theory which makes me feel very confident in the subject. I also have experience working as a Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley in their lower division Discrete Math course (CS70).
Electrical Engineering,

Electrical Engineering

I have recently completed my degree in EECS at UC Berkeley and have several software engineering internship experiences. I studied and tutored in various domains in electrical engineering ranging from devices and systems design, signal processing, and probability theory in engineering. I've also taught several courses at UC Berkeley in the EECS department as a Teaching Assistant.
Probability,

Probability

I completed coursework in Computer Science for my Bachelor's degree which include Probability Theory, as well as other closely related subjects in the same domain. I have taken several rigorous courses applying probability theory such as upper division Probability Theory in Engineering, Machine Learning and Digital Signal Processing. I also have experience working as a Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley in their lower division Discrete Math and Probability course (CS70).

patient, methodical, and knowledgable tutor

Yoav is patient and takes his time to explain what is happening behind the program. He is knowledgeable in operating system and can teach. He was able to break down a weeks worth of concept in 2 hours. He gave me confidence. Thank you Yoav.
