Hi, I'm William. I'm an English tutor with a focus on 100 & 200 level classes. I've been tutoring English since High School, and I've had the privilege of working with students in a variety of environments, such as one-on-one homeschooling, and a volunteer organization specializing in assisting homeless students.
Presently I work with the Writing Center at Los Angeles City College, where I tutored in-person last year and presently tutor remotely. There, I've assisted students with college & scholarship applications, English writing assignments, and more. I love receiving messages at the end of a semester hearing how I was able to help a student improve their grade.
I've assisted students at all levels of English undergraduate work, from fundamental reading and writing skills to sophisticated research projects. I've completed all required coursework (and then some) for an AA in English with straight A's and honors.
I'm a flexible tutor, with a holistic approach that goes beyond simply passing assignments. I looking forward to identifying and building your unique strengths!
