About Kirsten

Bio

During my time at USC, I worked for Student-Athlete Academic Services as a tutor to student-athletes. I really loved my work there because I was able to help students who had incredibly busy schedules and heavy workloads streamline what they needed to know for their specific courses. As a result, I was often able to see their grades rise, along with their confidence, which lead to success in their academic lives.

I really loved my work there because I was able to help students who had incredibly busy schedules and heavy workloads streamline what they needed to know for their specific courses. As a result, I was often able to see their grades rise, along with their confidence, which lead to success in their academic lives.

It is so rewarding to help a student who feels lost in certain subjects find their footing and ultimately help them grow into confident, competent, and enthusiastic students.

I've loved reading, writing, and storytelling since I was able to talk. In high school, I was part of the team that put out the school newspaper, took all honors and AP English/Literature classes, and won essay contests. This lead me to apply to and eventually attend USC's School of Cinematic Arts in the Writing for Screen + Television program (which boasts a 4% acceptance rate). There I was able to hone in on my storytelling and overall writing skills through taking numerous screenwriting, creative writing, academic writing, and stand-up comedy classes. After graduation, I've had jobs in copywriting, copy editing, and proof-reading for professional writers.

Please reach out, I would love to meet you and get to help you grow as a student in whatever field you're hoping to improve in!
