Hi I'm Ethan! I am a fourth-year medical student at UCLA and I have 5 years of tutoring/teaching experience. During undergrad I was employed as a tutor/TA at the local junior high where I remained for all 4 years. During my time there, I worked one-on-one with 7th and 8th graders who were referred to me by their teachers, and also held an open tutoring session for anyone who wanted extra help.

Throughout undergrad I also privately tutored high school and college students in a variety of classes. This would usually consist of reviewing lesson materials and concepts first to ensure a solid foundational understanding of the material. We would then review past assignments or work on current assignments to keep the student on track. For tests, we would go over notes and/or a study guide and do practice questions to fill any gaps in knowledge. That being said, no one knows themselves or their studies as well as the student, so I encourage all my students to take charge of their learning and use me as a tool to help them realize the success they are working towards!

MCAT studying is about effectively identifying your weak areas and strengthening them sufficiently in time for the test. With the extent of the material and the short study window, it is nearly impossible to learn everything perfectly. However, with an efficient study plan, discipline, and some help from me, the score of your dreams can be achieved.
