In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have worked in the entertainment advertising business for over four years, where a part of my responsibility was to design and create documents for pitches to clients, and even marketing collateral for clients. I am highly trained in layouts and design within InDesign, including it's various cross-comparability features with other Adobe applications.
I studied Classics at college. In England, where I studied, we do not "major" or "minor", nor do we do general education at college.
