I have been tutoring since I was in high school. I went on to work as a teaching assistant and lecturer for two major universities. I led tutorials and taught at the university level. I have experience getting results in English, History, French, Film and all forms of test prep, including preparing for private school entrance examinations and interviews.
I love working with people to get them to their personal best and I am looking to take on a selective amount of motivated clients.
I have been studying French since the 4th grade through college and have spent time all over France, including living in Paris and Bordeaux.
I received a 5 on both of my AP English examinations and have been tutoring English since high school. I have an honors bachelor of arts in English and Film and a Master's Degree in Film with an emphasis on literary adaptation. I have also been punished in a number of academic journals and have worked as a teaching assistant and lecturer in both English, History and Film departments.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been tutoring for ACT and SAT reading and writing components for 10 years.
I currently work at a college and have for a number of years. I have gone back into high school to discuss the college prep for students and am very familiar with the process. I love working with parents and students at the beginning of the process all the way through to their acceptance. It's important to find what motivates you and what you're excited about learning in the future.
I have a Master's Degree in film studies and have taught film history and film theory tutorials and lectures at the college level. I have also worked on the production side in both Los Angeles and Vancouver.
I have been working as a professional photographer since 2008. I have also studied the history of photography as a film major at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
I was on the debating team and a top placing public speaker in high school.
I have worked as an actor in Los Angeles and I have both an Associate of Arts Degree in Acting and a Certificate of Advanced Studies from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I have also studied Theatre History extensively.
As an immigrant, I have been through the process at USCIS and am aware of the various language requirements and would happily work with others to navigate this.
