ESERP Business School (Spain) (Public Relations by ESERP)
I’m a Freelance Photographer, photojournalist and photography instructor based in Los Angeles, California. Some years ago I started my own photography business following one of my big passions since I was a kid. I started my photography studio shooting portraits, head shots for actors, model books, editorial, family, couple, newborn and commercial photography.
As a show business photo journalist I've portrayed a lot of celebrities, actors, actresses, directors, singers, models and playmates. Photographing concerts, music and theatrical performances is something I also enjoy a lot since I've also been related to the music business most of my life.
I enjoy captivating individuals' candid best moments. Weddings, both corporate private and public events and even the street on a regular day are the best situations to frame those precious moments that tell a story.
In the studio I spend many hours to create a stunning final product. Either is a portrait or a sunset landscape for fine art I enjoy creating the world I have previously envisioned. I use both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CC as my main editing tools and I’m always open to embrace new technologies and trends.
I love teaching photography. Either if you need to learn the basics of photography or want to go deeper into composition I'll make you get rid of the automatic mode.
I'm bilingual English-Spanish and I'd love you let me teach you what I really love. Contact me and I'll more than pleased to talk with you about how you can get what you need either for your next travel abroad or for starting a career in photography. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I'm an entertainment photojournalist and photographer who use Lightroom on a daily basis and have developed a personal and efficient workflow to work in a fast paced environment.
I have photography teaching experience for groups of up to 40 people in Mexico. I teached for the XP Fotografia company. The course was divided in two days, 8 hours every day. The students came to the course with a very basic photography level and after the course the students had learned not only how his/her camera worked but to look at the world with a photographer eye.
My photography vision is very detail oriented and that is what I teach to my students. I want them to look at the world in a different way and capture their feelings in images. Photography is about freezing an instant.
In order to be able to correctly use a camera (DSLR, SLR,) the students must deeply understand how to use the different functions of the gear and have perfect understanding of the Exposure Triangle (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO). Using a very graphic way of teaching the basic photography concepts my students will understand the way photography works and consequently will feel more secure with their cameras.
Photography is painting with light. I will teach my students to see the light and the way the light affects how we see the world. I will teach them how the quality and the amount of light affect different subjects, from people to objects, from cityscapes to landscapes.
I'm always improving my methods of learning from other colleagues through deep conversations and studio sessions..
