I am a recent Master's graduate from CSUN in Mechanical Engineering. My original intent was to become a CPA after my undergraduate schooling, but found that the working world was not as fulfilling as I hoped. So, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in engineering since I have always had a passion for building and taking things apart while I was growing up. The switch in career paths was quite a challenge, but in the end I am glad it was done.
During my grad school career, I worked in a fluids lab designing, building and troubleshooting numerous projects for researching. My emphasis in Graduate school was within the thermal fluids field of mechanical engineering.
My best subjects in grade school were always math related. I decided to further my enjoyment of math by obtaining a degree in engineering.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
